My studio and business operates out of the tiny tin-roofed cottage on the beach where I live in Ladysmith, which is on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. While I don't have a storefront of my own, I am lucky to work with all kinds of incredible independent shops throughout BC. You can click here to find a local shop on the map near you!

Prints are shipped in rigid 100% recycled cardboard mailers, all other items ship in standard paper envelopes with a little added protection and a lotta added love. Your order will ship in 1-3 business days.

Hello Yellow Canary is solely little ol' me, and my name is Danielle Brufatto. When I was little, my (very Italian) grandfather raised canaries and my dad always kept one as a friend too. Their cheerful chirps just make me happy! Also the colour yellow! Plus rhyming and alliteration are two of my favourite things. I hear you! Computer screens can be tricky little sprites that make it hard to truly know the colours of things. It's always nice to see and feel items in the real world to make a thoughtful purchase :) You can find select goods at the locations pinned on the Map at the bottom of the Home page. Of course not all shops can carry every item I have to offer, so please get in touch with me or with them if there's a certain print or design you're seeking. Also - I'd love to see you at one of the markets I vend at throughout the year! The internet is a scary place! I named my business in 2012 and began selling wares shortly thereafter. As 'Hello Yellow Canary', I have been selling in markets, local shops and on Etsy since 2014. You can head over to my Etsy shop and read over 900 5-star reviews from sweet people just like you if you still have any hesitations! The third-party payment system I use is Square, which is actually what I've used for years when you visit me in person at markets too! Please review my Privacy and Security Policy at any time and reach out with any questions you may still have.

Possibly! My illustrations are hand-drawn and are on the smaller size. This means that blowing them up while preserving their quality may not always be possible. Having said that, I have printed up to 18x24 in the past and would love to chat with you about what you're looking for! Please message me through the Contact form and let me know which print and what dimensions you're after.
